Students to 'fly' around the world at Sauk

DIXON – Children 10 to 14 will have the opportunity to travel around the world every Tuesday beginning Jan. 29.

The program, "Passport Around the World" will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday until March 5 at Sauk Valley Community College, 173 state Route 2. The cost is $15 payable to the University of Illinois Extension.

The students will experience the sights, tastes, and sounds of major cities throughout the world, such as Paris, Rome, and Tokyo. Sessions will include food, music, games, and guest speakers from the cities being visited.
