Jacqueline M. Carroll
POLO – Jacqueline M. Carroll, 69, of Polo, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at her home with family by her side.
Jackie was born July 16, 1943, in Forreston, the daughter of Jack McKean and Yvonne “Pete” (Smith) McKean.
She was united in marriage to Norman Carroll on May 2, 1964, in Polo. She was a beautician for 20 years and owned Jackie’s Beauty Shoppe. Subsequently, she worked for Johnson Oil “Shell” in Polo for more than 13 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Polo Chamber of Commerce, Mount Morris Women’s Moose, and Crossroads Community Church. Since retirement, she pursued her love of cooking by opening Gramma Jack’s Back 40 Deli until her health forced her to close. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to all.
