Betty M. Bates
TAVARES, Fla. – Betty M. Bates, 88, of Tavares, Fla., passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.
She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Nashville, Ill., the daughter of David and Agnes Williamson. She grew up in Rock Falls and lived there until 1969.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Taylor Bohm of Tavares; sister, Wanda Sutton; sister-in-law, Carol Williamson; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
