STERLING – A Life in the Spirit seminar will be presented each Thursday during Lent. The theme of the seminar is “Holy Spirit Draw Me Close To You.”
It has been planned in response to Pope Benedict XVI’s declaration to make 2013 The Year of Faith.
“The Holy Spirit and You in This Year of Faith, will be presented at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at St. Mary Parish Center, 600 Avenue B.
The speaker will be the Rev. Juan Ayala of Rockford.
Lisa Fox, prayer group member and occupational physical therapist at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, also will provide a personal testimony.
The next session will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 14.
St. Mary Family of Praise Prayer Group will sponsor the seminar. The public is welcome; the seminars are free suitable for teens and older.
