Donna J. Johnson

SHEFFIELD – Donna J. Johnson, 87, of Forreston, formerly of Sheffield, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. She worked for Avanti Foods in Walnut for 25 years.

She was born Aug. 28, 1925, in Kewanee, the daughter of Norton and Emma (Vershaw) Kemmerling. She was united in marraige to Arthur J. Johnson on Feb. 14, 1944, in Kewanee. He preeded her in death on Oct. 13, 2011.

Survivors include her sons, Russell (Marsha) Johnson of Forreston and Jerry (Carol) Johnson of Princeton; a son-in-law, Bill (Darla) Wangelin of Rock Falls; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
