ASHTON – Ashton-Franklin Center’s school board will hold a special meeting tonight to discuss the 1-percent sales tax proposal.

In November, the referendum was defeated when 58.9 percent of Lee County voters rejected the measure.

AFC’s meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the high school’s library, 611 Western Ave. Call 815-453-7461 for more information.
