Heartsaver AED class to be offered

MENDOTA – Mendota Community Hospital will have its Heartsaver AED Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Course at 6 p.m. Feb. 7 in Conference Room C in the education center, 1401 E. 12th St. Participants should enter through the medical building doors on the east side of the hospital.

The course is for lay rescuers, such as employees in the workplace and at day care centers, baby sitters, public safety and airline personnel, security guards, lifeguards, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, and others who may have a need to respond to an emergency and who require a credential.

Instructors are American Heart Association certified.
