Happy Tails offers new service program

Kids will work with animals, make music videos, learn how to spot abuse

Happy Tails new teen program for ages 16 and 17 launches at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at the shelter, 1408 McNeil Road in Rock Falls.

It will be held Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

To, sign up, go to happytailsanimalshelter.org to print an application. Fill it out and bring it with you.

New hours

Shelter hours have been expanded to accommodate the teen program and people who can't get there during the day.

Happy Tails now is open to the public from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Friday, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
