St. John’s knocks off Notre Dame

Ryan Evans had with 13 points and seven rebounds, and Traevon Jackson added 11 points as Wisconsin upset No. 2 Indiana 64-59 on Tuesday night in Bloomington, Ind., to take sole possession of the Big Ten lead.

The Badgers (13-4, 4-0) have won seven straight and beaten two Top 15 opponents in 4 days.

They now have 11 straight wins over the Hoosiers and five straight in Bloomington.

Cody Zeller scored 18 of his 21 points in the first half to lead Indiana (15-2, 3-1), which had a six-game winning streak and an 18-game home winning streak both end.

St. John’s 67, No. 20 Notre Dame 63: JaKarr Sampson scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half and St. John’s (10-7, 2-3 Big East) handed No. 20 Notre Dame its second straight loss, at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Eric Atkins had a season-high 21 points for Notre Dame (14-3, 2-2).

Bradley 69, S. Illinois 66: Dyricus Simms-Edwards scored 18 points and Bradley (11-7, 3-3 Missouri Valley) defeated Southern Illinois (8-9, 1-5) in Peoria.

Cincinnati 75, DePaul 70: Cashmere Wright scored 20 points, leading Cincinnati (15-3, 3-2 Big East) to a win over DePaul (10-7, 1-3) in Rosemont.
