DIXON – Judith Irene Lowry Brandt, 68, of Dixon, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at her home. She was a devoted beautician and hair stylist for more than 40 years in the Dixon area, and loved and enjoyed all her clients throughout the years. 

Judy was born Sept. 12, 1943, in Dixon, the daughter of Scott DeForest and Rose I. (Green) Lowry. She came from a large farm family and was the ninth of 13 children.   

Survivors include one son, Todd (Tammy) Bishop, and one daughter, Tiffany Brandt, both of Dixon; four sisters, Vivian Shinn of Florida, Betty Stone of Daysville, Norma (Neil) Petersen of Dixon, and Pauline (Orlie) Harrington of Dolph, Ark.; three brothers, Donald (Nancy) Lowry of Cherry, and Robert (Patricia) Lowry and Kenneth (Debbie) Lowry, both of Dixon; three grandchildren, Trevor Bishop, Faith Bishop, and Luke Sledge; many cousins, nieces, and nephews; and lifelong friends, Sharon Underhile and Teresa Long.
