ROCK FALLS – Della G. Lamoreux, 98, of Milledgeville, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Rock Falls Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was employed by BorgWarner in Dixon, retiring in 1979.

Della was born June 14, 1914, in Coleta, the daughter of James and Pearl (Vinson) Crawford. She married Cecil Lamoreux on Oct. 22, 1931, in Morrison. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2000. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Milledgeville, and was a Legion Auxiliary member in Milledgeville for more than 50 years. Della enjoyed playing bingo and cards, doing crafts, and bowling.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol (Claud) Ensinger of Dixon and Beverly (Edward) Ritzer of Las Vegas; one son, Clyde (Shirley) Lamoreux of Concord, N.C.; one sister, Shirley Turner of Polo; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
