Board to name new superintendent Wednesday
ROCK FALLS – The Rock Falls High School board is set to name its new superintendent Wednesday night.
The board interviewed six candidates in three special, closed-session meetings Jan. 5-7. The board then met Thursday in closed session to discuss the candidates and choose a finalist. It planned to meet Friday for the same purpose, but canceled the meeting.
Neither Superintendent Jane Eichman nor board president Merle Gaulrapp returned phone calls Monday seeking more information about the incoming superintendent or the candidate pool from which he or she was chosen.
