STERLING – Robert F. Erb, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
Robert was born Oct. 22, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of George and Mary (Becker) Erb. He married Anne M. Buhrow on Sept. 4, 1953, in Sterling. She died March 5, 2010. Robert worked at Reliant Fastener in Rock Falls.
Survivors include one daughter, Dianne (Paul) Adams of Sterling; one son, Doug (Corinna) Erb of Woodstock; one brother, Joe Dingas of Ohio; and four grandchildren, Brandon Adams, Reganne Adams, Peyton Erb and Griffin Erb.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Cremation rites will be accorded and private family burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Sterling Schools Foundation and CGH Medical Center’s Love On A Leash program.
