Soup secrets to be shared
OREGON – A hearty soup program will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 4 at the Ogle County Extension office, 421 W. Pines Road.
The cost is $5. Marilyn Csernis, Extension nutrition and wellness educator, will be the presenter.
Topics will include the basics of soup preparation, storage;, garnishes and croutons, soup bowls, and the nutritional significance of soups. Sampling soups will be part of the program, and recipes will be available to take home.
