Boys roundup: Dukes rally, sting Barbs in DeKalb
The Dixon Dukes rallied from down nine points with 2 minutes left to sting the Barbs 52-50 in a nonconference game Monday in DeKalb.
Led by Hayden Ikens' 15 points and Cal Jarrett's double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds), the Dukes (3-13) got aggressive to pull out their third road victory of the season.
"We played some very good down-nine-with-2-minutes-left basketball," Dixon coach Jason Mead said. "We attacked the basket and got to the line."
