MOUNT MORRIS – Mount Morris Moose members need silent auction and door prize items for a Jan. 26 benefit to honor victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn.

The event will be from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Moose Family Center, 101 Moose Drive, with music by “Goin Postal.” Admission will be $5 per person or $20 per family.

Food will be available, and a 50/50 raffle will be drawn. Raffle tickets are $1 each or $5 for six.

The money raised will go toward a memorial plaque to be sent to Newtown.
