Cocaine dealer gets 12 years
MORRISON – A Sterling felon is serving a 12-year sentence for selling 173 grams of cocaine to an informant in May 2011.
Rogelio Amezola, 37, must serve 75 percent, or 9 years. He was given credit for 593 days served in Whiteside County Jail.
He also was given a concurrent 12-year sentence for violating his probation on a 2007 drug case.
