MILLEDGEVILLE – Lucile C. Fogel, 92, of Milledgeville, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mount Carroll.

Lucile was born Feb. 21, 1920, in Preston, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Rose (Meyer) Mohr. She married Paul F. Fogel on Jan. 25, 1940, in Preston.

Lucile and Paul farmed in the Milledgeville area until retirement. They traveled and spent their winter months in Florida. He passed away on Dec. 20, 2000.

Lucile was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Milledgeville.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Emalee Andre of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; a son, Joel (Suzanne) Fogel of Milledgeville; a sister, Lola Kling of Danville; five grandchildren, Brian, Lisa, Dan, Michelle and Joel Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Mason, Lucile and Jordan.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Alan Fogel in 2010; a grandson, David Fogel; two brothers, Arlo and Arnold Mohr; and her parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
