Katherine M. Gunder
POLO – Katherine M. Gunder, 90, of Polo, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Polo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was a teacher at Polo Community School District for more than 20 years.
Katherine was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Amboy, the daughter of Charles and Minnie (Schamberger) Steder. She married Charles W. Gunder in October 1942, in Macon, Ga.
Survivors include son Steve Gunder of Topeka, Kan.; two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
