Tutor training to be Jan. 29 at Sauk
DIXON – Project Volunteers in Teaching Adult Literacy’s biannual instruction and online orientation classes for tutors will begin Jan. 29.
Tutors will attend three classes Jan. 29, 31, and Feb. 5, with a celebration of completion Feb. 7.
All classes will be from 5 to 7 p.m. in Room 2K2 at Sauk Valley Community College, 173 state Route 2. Tutors must complete 12 hours of training. Online training also is available and starts Jan. 29, with work to be completed during the training period.
