Registration open through Monday for beef seminar

DIXON – Beef producers can sign up through Monday for “Overcoming the Challenges of 2012,” a seminar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in room 1K4 at Sauk Valley Community College, 173 state Route 2.

The cost is $15, payable at the door.

Topics will include cow feeding strategies, feedlot management, pasture care, and herd health tips.
