Dukes, Duchesses bowling take it to Bulldogs on road
Dixon sweeps in Streator
Andrew Hamburg rolled a 653 series to lead the Dixon boys bowling team to a 3,453-3,187 victory at Streator on Wednesday.
Hamburg rolled games of 184, 256 and 213. He was followed by Ryan Dixon (617), Josh Rex (581), Brandon Bonnette (563), Connor Allen (526) and Lucas Bonnette (513). The Dukes took all 10 team points available.
Caleb Wilson led Streator with a 601 series.
Girls bowling
Dixon 3,037, Streator 2,694: Devan Gearhart's 619 series led the Duchesses to a road win over the Bulldogs.
Gearhart rolled games of 259-178 and 182 for her series. She was backed by Autumn Day (548), Emily Quaco (525), Margaret Thomas (519) and Jenna Longan (445). Michaela Bates (275) bowled two games and Kayla Bonnette (106) bowled one.
Jessica Green led Streator with a 491 series.
