Clark E. Nesbitt

SAVANNA – Clark Everett Nesbitt, 94, of Savanna, previously of Rockford, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Walnut Manor Nursing Home in Walnut.

Clark was born June 25, 1918, in Savanna, the son of Arthur and Lucille (Clark) Nesbitt. He was a member of the class of 1936 at Savanna High School. He married Mary Goedecke. Mary passed away June 19, 1999.

He served his country in the Army as an X-ray technician during World War II. Clark owned and operated a Standard Oil station and Shell Oil station from 1957 to 1971 in Rockford. He graduated from Realtor’s Institute in Peoria and worked as a real estate broker and partner at Crown Realtors in Rockford from 1971 to 1981.
