Peace be with those who oppose Nativity scene

I am writing in response to the letter from Matt Fichter on Dec. 15 and others who oppose a Nativity scene on the lawn of Dixon’s courthouse, the greeting of “Merry Christmas,” and the overall honoring of Jesus Christ, the son of God, who gave his life so that we might have our many sins forgiven and have eternal life. It is a petty and disrespectful attitude to our creator.

Do they celebrate Christmas? If so, why?

Do they know the meaning of Christmas? Are they trying to take “Christ” out of the word Christmas?
