DIXON – Larry L. Janssen, 64, of Dixon, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at his home. He worked for E.D. Etnyre in Oregon for more than 26 years, prior to his retirement in 2011.

Larry was born Sept. 22, 1948, the son of Walter L. and Dorothy I. (Rosenbalm) Janssen. He married Susan Bondi on Nov. 17, 2007, in Dixon. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends from AA in Dixon and Oregon, and was especially fond of his many cats.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Janssen of Rockford; one son of Michigan; his mother, Dorothy Janssen of Oregon; one stepdaughter, Julie (Matt) Milby of Dixon; one brother, Gary (Joan) Janssen of Dixon; and one sister, Judy (Mike) Pratt-Musgrave of Sterling.
