Jo was a devoted member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, serving the church and her Lord in many ways, such as church secretary, Sunday school teacher, Women’s Society member and choir member. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and also enjoyed caring for her yard and gardening. She had been employed as an accountant for several years at National Manufacturing.

Survivors include one son, Jim (Christi) Latta of Rock Falls; one daughter, Jody (Greg) Taylor of Aurora; one brother, Ron (Ardyce) Edeus of Rock Falls; two grandsons, Sumner Latta and Zachary Taylor; and two granddaughters, Madilyn Latta and Corynn Latta. She will be missed by her family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Wayne Edeus.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Daniel Behmlander, pastor, officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation.
