Have lunch, help keep library warm

WALNUT – A chili luncheon fundraiser for Walnut Public Library will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at Walnut Community Center, 129 S. Main St.

Proceeds will go toward a new furnace for the library. The cost is $6 for those 13 to 59; $4 for children 6 to 12 and seniors, 60 and older; and free for children 5 and younger.

Tickets are available at the luncheon or in advance at the library, 101 Heaton St.; Citizen’s First State Bank, 105 N. Main St.; and First Federal Bank, 137 S. Main St.
