Raymond R. Trujillo
STERLING – Raymond R. Trujillo, 71, of Sterling, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family. He was employed as a crane operator at Northwestern Steel & Wire Co., retiring after 32 years of service.
Raymond was born Aug. 31, 1941, in Sterling, the son of Tobias and Natividad (Segobiano) Trujillo. Raymond was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling and the Latin American Social Club. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed vacationing and spending time with family.
Survivors include his soulmate, Juanita Craig of Sterling; two daughters, Lydia (Pete) Regalado of Lakewood, Colo., and Tomi (David) Vollmann of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; four sons, Jesse (Kim) Rodriguez of Sterling, Edward and Rafael Rodriguez of Aurora, Colo., and John Trujillo of Moline; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
