ROCK FALLS – Charles E. Henson, 70, of Rock Falls, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. He was a machinist at National Manufacturing for 22 years.

He was born Sept. 3, 1942, in Centralia, a son of Donald and Flora (Marcum) Henson. He married Sandra Tabor on April 29, 1976. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, and watching old Westerns on TV.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra of Rock Falls; a daughter, Janie Schlessinger of Kansas; two sons, Kevin (Carla) Henson and Jamie Williams, both of Rock Falls; his sisters, Fay Moreland of Vandalia, Brenda Williams and Wennona Bell, both of Rock Falls, and Wanda Richards of Chesapeake, Va.; a brother, Daniel (Clarice) Henson of Sterling; grandchildren, Angela, Ashley, Kayla, Karissa, Kodie, Tyler, and Mercedes; great-grandchildren, Carmindy, Jevin, and Trevor; and several nieces and nephews.
