MATTOON – Dalys V. Albright, 76, of Mattoon, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.

Dalys was born March 6, 1936, in Princeton, the daughter of Valentine and Genevieve (Raynor) Warkins. She married Dick Albright on Nov. 16, 1957, in Broadwell.

In her spare time, she enjoyed antiquing and refinishing furniture. She lived for her children and her grandchildren, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Along with her loving husband of just over 54 years, she is survived by her children, Kyla A. (John) Poplawski of Champaign and M. Scott (Sonia) Albright of Robinson; and four grandchildren, Morgan Poplawski and Dylan Poplawski, both of Champaign, and Kylynn Albright and Dalton Albright, both of Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather; and two sisters, Patricia McCoy-Finn and Wanda Allers. 

A time for gathering and sharing memories will be from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by the funeral at noon, Monday at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Ave., Mattoon, with the Rev. Steve Hayes officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Mattoon.
