I am writing in reference to a hit-and-run incident that happened late the night of Sunday, Dec. 16. My granddaughter’s car was parked on a side street in the Jefferson School area and, for whatever reason, someone ran into it and chose to just drive away. 

There is a lot of damage to her car and, probably, considerable damage to the other vehicle. We have thought of many reasons why this person wasn’t responsible enough to stop, but can’t put some of them in [this letter].

We do have some information about the incident, but could still use some help. The other vehicle is probably silver or light blue and has dark-blue paint on it (from my granddaughter’s car) and quite a bit of damage to the front end.
