DIXON – Rock River Valley Bicycle Club members are planning activities for January.

The club’s free “Welcome 2013, New Year Day” bicycle ride will start at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at River’s Edge Inn, 2303 W. First St. All participants must provide their own equipment and wear helmets. The distance and route will depend upon the weather, but will end at the restaurant.

The monthly membership meeting will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Dixon Family YMCA, 110 N. Galena Ave. All those interested are welcome to attend. Meetings are the Tuesday after the second Monday of each month.
