Genealogists plan January meeting

STERLING – The Whiteside County Genealogists will meet at 9 a.m. Friday in the meeting room at Sauk Valley Chamber of Commerce, 211 Locust St.

Sandra Miller, a longtime county resident, will present the program, “A Look Back at the Early Villages, Settlements and Towns of Whiteside County.”

The membership year begins in January. Dues are $12. 

Meetings are the first Friday of each month, except in July. Anyone interested in compiling a family history is welcome.
