Oregon educator recognized by peers

OREGON – Andrew Nelson of Oregon High School recently received the Assistant Principal of the Year award from the Northwest Region of the Illinois Principals’ Association.

Nelson is in charge of student services and new teacher mentoring at OHS. He also served as president of the Oregon Rotary. The northwest region of IPA includes Ogle, Whiteside, Lee, Carroll, Jo Daviess, and Stephenson counties.
