POLO – Diane K. Chandler, 72, of Polo, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. She was a supervisor of disabled adults at Kreider Services in Dixon.

Diane was born Dec. 15, 1940, in Polo, the daughter of Curtis and Aileen (Geary) Kuntzelman. She was united in marriage to James Chandler on March 7, 1964, in Polo. He preceded her in death in 2010.

Survivors include her daughters, Audra Chandler of Polo, Lisa Chandler of Dixon, and Dawn (Walter) Farrell of Washington, Iowa; stepdaughter, Michele Chandler (Michael) Dilbeck of Dixon; son, Shawn (Johnna) Stultz of Washington; grandchildren, Jason (Julie) Farrell of North Liberty, Iowa, Amanda Farrell of Madison, Wis., Tayler, McKenzie, and Zachary Stultz of Washington, and Garrett Chandler of Dixon; great-granddaughter, Lillian Farrell of North Liberty; brothers-in-law, David (Mary Jo) Chandler of Dixon and Scott (Patty) Chandler of Britt, Minn.; sisters-in-law, Carol Chandler of Dixon and Susan (Charles) Atchley of Sterling; Alice Chandler; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Donald.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fairmount Cemetery in Polo, followed by a celebration of her life from 2 to 5 p.m. at Polo Senior Center. Polo Family Funeral Home handled arrangements.
