Board OKs 20-year campus plan
MACOMB (AP) – Officials at Western Illinois University have approved a 20-year plan for the Macomb campus.
It’s a continuation of the university’s 2007 plan, from which about 75 percent of the goals either were completed or are in progress, officials said.
The “Campus Master Plan” sets goals and plans for the university until 2032.
It was written with feedback from the board, a campus committee, campus groups and studies from architects.
Part of the plan is a $72 million performing arts center.
