Milledgeville boys struggle to put away tourney foe
The Pearl City Wolves put their home floor to good use late to get past Fulton 49-39 and take fifth place in their annual tournament.
The Steamers (5-8), led by Morgan Wierema's 13 points, led 35-33 through three periods. Katherine Wayne scored 10 points for Fulton, and Morgan Sanquist, who was named to the all-tourney team, added four.
Erie 65, Bureau Valley 33: Ten Cardinals not only got in the Three Rivers game but also scored, as Erie built a 37-13 lead at the half.
