STERLING – Sean M. Parvin, 19, of Sterling, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2012.

Sean was born Nov. 21, 1993, in Sterling, the son of Tom and Michelle Parvin. He attended Newman Central Catholic High School in Sterling. Sean enjoyed wrestling, baseball, football and riding his Harley. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. 

Survivors include his parents; maternal grandmother, Brenda (Kenny) Wyatt of Rock Falls; maternal grandfather, J.R. (Cindy) Fortune of Sterling; two sisters, Cheyenne Hernandez of Rock Falls and Amanda Lopez of Harmon; one brother, Mikey Lopez Jr. of Rock Falls; six uncles, Dennis Parvin, Bill (Theresa) Parvin, Joe (Cork) Fortune, Hootie (Tammy) Wyatt,  J.R. (Amanda) Fortune, and Tommy (Amanda) Fortune; and two aunts, Heather (Prisciliano) Chavez and Kelly Parvin.  

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Helen Parvin; paternal grandfather, Ray Parvin; an uncle, John Parvin; and an aunt, Theresa Parvin. 

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with Monsignor Thomas Dzielak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.

A memorial has been established.
