Bulldogs put away Hawks with 15-1 finish
Oregon trails off
FORRESTON – Oregon rallied once before stumbling down the stretch.
Down by seven entering the fourth quarter, the Hawks scored the first eight points of the period to take a one-point lead. Oregon managed just one point over the last 4 minutes and 45 seconds as unbeaten Aquin ran away with a 63-50 win Thursday in the Forreston tournament semifinal matchup.
"We kind of panicked and started throwing up stupid shots," said Hawks 6-foot-5 senior post Caleb Mowry, who scored a game-high 20 points. "And, they were shooting lights-out the entire game, and we couldn't do anything about it."
