What do you provide? Athletic strength and conditioning, focusing on speed, agility, strength and power. Adult CrossFit group classes focusing on strength and conditioning for all fitness levels.

What’s new? We opened June 26. Come see the new place and talk about what I can offer you in my adult group classes and athletic groups.

Tell us about yourself: My name is Kevin Hopper. I’m the owner. I have 8 years strength and conditioning experience training athletes from 10 years of age all the way up to the professional level. Our motto is “be your best and fitter than the rest.” This the first true strength and conditioning facility in the area.

I am 29. I live in Dixon after just moving back from the Quad Cities area. I’m originally from Amboy, where I graduated in 2001. I was on the state track team and also played football and basketball. I love to work out with my friends and spend time with my two children, Brady and Marlee. I belong to the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting, CrossFit level 1 trainer, American Drug-Free Powerlifting Federation and Living History Antique Equipment Association.

Tell us about your family: My wife is Stephanie (Smith) Hopper; she is from Dixon and graduated in 2000. She works at Walgreens in Dixon. Brady (who will be 4 on Friday) loves to play all sports and has really picked up on sports training. He loved to work alongside the youth athletes that I trained in the Quad Cities area. Marlee is 2, she has been coming to Daddy’s work since she was born.

Any additional comments? It has been my dream to move back to the area and open my own place. Fitness is my passion, and I love to help other people be their best. A special thanks to my father, Don Hopper, and my father-in-law, Tim Smith, for helping get the place up and running.
