Hunter Hamstra scored 10 points and three teammates scored eight apiece in Morrison’s 42-38 win over Orangeville at the Forreston Tournament on Wednesday night.
Will Greul, Alexander Volckmann and Matt Wilkens each had eight points for Morrison (2-10).
Polo 65, Pearl City 53: The Marcos outscored the Wolves 25-17 in the opening quarter and advanced to the Forreston tourney consolation championship.
Brady Bushman paced Polo (7-2) with 21 points, and AJ Dollmeyer added 14.
Christian Life 59, Milledgeville 48: The Missiles outscored the Eagles 12-7 in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime before being outscored 14-3 in the extra frame.
Milledgeville (2-7) got a team-high 15 points from Jordan Harris and 10 from Kameron DawTyne.
Eastland 58, Stockton 40: Ty Hartman scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Cougars past the Blackhawks.
Eastland (5-1) outscored Stockton (2-2) 29-11 in the second half. Dalton Shaner scored 12 points and Austin Hansen 10 for the Cougars.
West Carroll 74,
Freeport JV 58: Jordan Bacero poured in a game-high 24 points and Trevor Jones added 17 as the Thunder thumped the Pretzels’ JV unit.
Tommy Losch was also in double figures for West Carroll (3-5) with 10 points.
Prophetstown 52, United 24: Carter Ames tossed in 18 points to lead the Prophets to a win at the ROWVA/Ridgewood tournament.
Also for Prophetstown (7-3), Devin Johnson scored 13 points and Ethan Howard added eight rebounds and six points.
Lutheran 45, Rock Falls 29: The Rockets won two bouts on the mat in losing to the Crusaders in Rockford.
Shawn Skinner (220 pounds) won by pin and Tibs Cervantes (138) won by technical fall.
No results from the Rockets’ dual against Winnebago were reported to SVM.
Morrison splits two: Nolan Dykema (152) and Austin Shoup (170) posted a pair of wins as the Mustangs defeated Alleman 51-30 and lost to Geneseo 60-16 in Geneseo.
West Carroll 42, Orion 21: Matt Ross (160) won by pin to lead the Thunder past the Chargers in Savanna.
Zach Hartman (132) and Nate Hartman (170) won decisions for West Carroll.
Raiders drop two: Jake Kaecker (152/160) won a pair of matches for AFC in losses to Amboy (43-19) and Byron (57-12) in Ashton.
The Clippers received wins from Damion Ullrich (132) and Andrew Klein (160) against the Raiders.
