DIXON – Lutheran Social Service of Illinois has a long history of providing help to children, adults, seniors, and families in Dixon and the surrounding area.

Beginning Jan. 1, LSSI will close its office at 1247 N. Galena Ave. The agency will continue to offer substance abuse services for Lee County residents at its Sterling office, 1901 First. Ave.

LSSI will continue to provide foster care and adoption services, counseling, crisis intervention services for youth and families, youth services, school-based services, and community-based programs for seniors at a variety of locations, such as Nachusa Lutheran Home, schools and churches.
