Amber Granzow kept her hot hand going Tuesday, rolling three 200 games to lead the Sterling Golden Warriors bowling team to a 3,080-2,390 victory over the Rochelle Hubs at T-Byrd Lanes in Rochelle.
Three days after bowling the seventh-best series in IHSA history, Granzow finished with games of 209, 212 and 202 for a match-high 623 series against the Hubs.
Destinee Howard rolled a 558 series and a 221 high game, and Samantha Lewis added a 544 series and 225 high game for the Warriors (4-1, 4-1 NIB-12), who now have 38 points through five conference matches.
Briana Mickley's 491 series led Rochelle.
Dixon 3,107, DeKalb 3,048: The Duchesses took eight of the 10 points at Plum Hollow, winning the second and third games and the overall match.
Dixon was led by Autumn Day's 631 series, which included games of 200 and 233. Jenna Longan (523), Emily Quaco (515), Devan Gearhart (513) and Kayla Bonnette (510) all added 500 series for the Duchesses.
Kodie Underwood paced the Barbs with a match-high 672 series, which consisted of games of 243, 218 and 211.
Mendota 2,541, Oregon 2,281: Amber Tucker paced the Hawks with a 475 series, but Oregon fell to the Trojans at Town & Country Lanes.
MacKenzie Tague had the high game with 191 in the third game. She finished with a 411 series.
Mendota's Michaela DeLong had high series with a 503.
DeKalb 3,509, Dixon 3,461: The Dukes garnered two of the 10 points in a NIB-12 loss to DeKalb at Plum Hollow.
Connor Allen led Dixon with games of 204, 212 and 215 for a 631 series, while Andrew Hamburg added a 600 series and a 234 high game.
Seth Pinne paced the Barbs with a 634 series, capped by a 221 high game.
Oregon 3,391, Mendota 3,210: Mark Schmidt started hot with a 248 first game at Town & Country Lanes in Mt. Morris and kept right on rolling for a 611 series to help the Hawks to win over the Trojans.
Joe Miranda just missed cracking the 600-barrier with a 596. His high game was 206 in the first game. The Hawks had three bowlers crack 200 in the first game, as Colton Russell joined Schmidt and Miranda with a 211.
Mendota's Michael Rosalez had high series with a 620.
Panthers pummel 2 opponents on road: Cody Beyer (182 pounds), Seth Montgomery (160) and Josh Wheeler (132) had two pins each to lead Erie-Prophetstown to lopsided wins over Knoxville (66-12) and Rockridge (59-12) in Taylor Ridge.
Other double-winners in contested matches for the Panthers included Dylan Binion (152), Josh Bowling (113 and 120), Noah Eads (170) and Brandon McCullough (106 and 113).
Northeast (Iowa) 52, Fulton 15: The Steamers won three of the six contested matches in a loss at Northeast (Iowa).
Ethan Jones had a pin over Andrew Driscoll in 5 minutes, 20 seconds at 145 pounds. Aaron Field (138 pounds) and Zach Jenkins (170) both won by decision. Fulton forfeited five weight classes.
