Bette M. Oesterreich

STERLING – Bette M. Oesterreich, 91, of Sterling, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.

Bette was born May 24, 1921, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Lester and Melba (Hill) Hilgardner. She married Lester M. Oesterreich on Nov. 26, 1942, in South St. Paul, Minn. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2010. Bette was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara (Steven) King of Sterling; one son, Leslie (Pat) Oesterreich of Rescue, Calif.; one sister, Karen (Robert) Thomas of Midland, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
