Teachers attain board certification

OREGON – Oregon High School faculty members Megan Adams and Jan Pattat have earned their certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

NBTS certification is achieved through a performance-based assessment. National Board certified teachers have successfully demonstrated advanced teaching methods and a mastery over the subjects they teach.

Pattat is a Spanish instructor with 20 years of teaching experience. Adams is a language arts instructor with 12 years experience. They join five other OHS faculty members who have earned the certification.
