Faye Hahn
LAKE PLACID, Fla. – Faye Hahn, 98, of Lake Placid, formerly of Dixon, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at her home. She was a seamstress at the Dixon State School before her retirement.
Faye was born March 11, 1914, in Grand Chain, the daughter of Arch E. and Cora Mae (Peck) Miller. She married Clyde Thomas on March 11, 1933, in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1969. She married Howard Hahn on Dec. 31, 1979, in Nachusa. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2005. Faye enjoyed working crossword puzzles and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include two sons, Clyde Eugene (Valerie) Thomas of Downers Grove and Glen Edward (Dianne) Thomas of Okeechobee, Fla.; one daughter, Helen Hufford of Moore Haven, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
