MORRISON – Mary E. Huycke, 93, of Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the nursing home. She was employed by Volckmann Furniture Co. and General Electric in Morrison.

Mary was born Oct. 25, 1919, in Coleta, the daughter of William and Clara (Birdsley) Marshall. She married Kenneth A. Huycke on Aug. 14, 1948, in Morrison. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1969. Mary was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Janet Phillips of Morrison, Nancy (Vernon) Jackson of Rock Falls, Vicki Ratliff of DeWitt, Iowa, and Betty Fredricks of Florida; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
