league to start in January

ROCK FALLS – The Coloma Township Park District will sponsor a season of co-rec church volleyball.

Members of the 12-week league will play at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Mondays, starting Jan. 7, at Merrill School, 600 Fourth Ave.

The league will have a maximum of 12 teams. One woman from each team most play during the matches. Recreation is stressed, not competition.

Trophies will be awarded at the end of the season. 

Registration is accepted on a first come, first serve basis at the park district office, 508 E. 11th St. An entry fee of $180 to pay for balls and trophies is required with registration.  

Team managers will receive schedules and more information at a meeting before the league begins. For more information, call the park district at 815-625-0272.
