DIXON – Christmas items will be sold at a fundraiser from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Loveland Community House, 513 W. Second St.

Mary Padgett of Dixon will sell ceramic statues called “Little Guys” to help pay medical expenses for her brother, Joe Pacileo, now of North Carolina. Joe, who has polio, fell May 3 and broke his right kneecap and damaged his left kneecap, and has undergone surgery.

He and his wife, Cindy, who makes the statues, face thousands of dollars in medical costs.

Wreaths, centerpieces, door hangers, floral candles and other items also will be sold to help pay for a mission trip to Mount Carmel in Israel for youth from Full Gospel Assembly in Sterling.

Barbara Seifert, who owned Floral Magic in Rock Falls, makes the decorations.
