Grants available to organizations

ROCKFORD – The Mill Foundation will accept grant applications from Ogle County nonprofit organizations until Jan. 1.

The foundation provides funding to organizations and programs that benefit local youth in northern Illinois.

To qualify, organizations must be compatible with the Mill Foundation mission statement: “The Mill Foundation seeks to help abused, neglected and at-risk youth and their families to develop and establish appropriate values, healthy relationships, behaviors and life skills that will lead to responsible and productive lives.”

They also must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt and report on measurable outcomes.
